How long have you been in business?
Ener-G was formed in 2009 to meet the needs of the new home performance market.
What is your primary product or service?
Ener-G's primary service is residential home performance. Meaning we perform an energy audit of your home to find the areas or equipment that is costing you money when heating or cooling your home. Then prepare a comprehensive report on how to fix those issues and make your home more efficient. We also assist new home builders in making new energy efficient homes per the new energy code. We also provide energy audits for Pepco and BGE that can get their customers up to $2,000 in rebates, maybe more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The owner and professional engineer, has always been designing sustainable homes and communities over the last 25 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our staff is trained to be "problem solvers" and not just "plug and play" technicians. We solve problems others can't.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location that serves Montgomery County. We have plans to expand our services as the industry grows.

Our physical office is in Olney MD, but we are completely a virtual company, our vehicles are mobile offices.

Cash and checks for small work, for larger job we accept credit cards.

Mr. Nelson, our founder runs the company and a registered professional engineer.

9am to 5pm Monday thru Friday.
